Good selection of vegan dishes. Service is also good, except for the experience that a waitress (blonde & corpulent) is sometimes rude and actually did not serve me and my companion. After 20 minutes of ignorance and asking twice, we left the shop.

This is the second time I have eaten here and you can neither tell from the taste nor the look that this is a vegan restaurant. I am pleasantly surprised 😳 But you should form your own opinion. Here are some treats for the eye 😜

We only had a coffee. I had to look at the cup several times because it said gorilla on it, but the coffee tasted like Muckefuck. Otherwise very hard-working and friendly service.

Not only did they give us the wrong order without asking for our last name and simply assuming we ordered via Lieferando, then they also made us bring back the wrong food and handed us our original order that was cold and overly pricy. Stay away from Zeilplatte.

The food is pretty good, lots of choices and everything is vegan which is a luxery because I didn't need to think while ordering. The service was surprisingly great for a pretty big place in the middle of the main shopping street. The deserts were really good. I recommend

Unbelievable how good the food is! A really great restaurant, nice atmosphere, fast service and, above all, great cruelty-free food. The cell phone charging station also saved my life: D No wonder the store was full. Gladly open in Hamburg too!

The food was delicious, the service was also friendly but, we don't understand the scam with the food .. ordered the breakfast from Bild, but got a much smaller portion, and also with old lettuce and onions .. Please do not take fake photos of what you cannot get 👎👏

The food and drinks were great, only my condition was slow. I waited almost half an hour until the waiter gave me the bill just because he wanted a smoke and wanted to talk to a colleague. 😡

For a while I was in town twice a month. Here at Zeil Kittchen I was looking for something to eat. The restaurant in the middle of the row sold Euro-Asian food in a glass building with a terrace. At that time there were still hawkers nearby who offered their goods on the Zeil that were suitable for children and young people. But they weren't intrusive, you could walk past them unmolested, and I never saw the police ask them to leave the square, they didn't seem to bother anyone. You could get takeaway food in the restaurant or chat undisturbed on the terrace while eating, there was nothing to complain about the quality of the food.

Good cocktails and nice shop. Staff was friendly. Prices are okay for the location.

All vegan menu. Friendly staff, lots of space, and relaxed atmosphere. Cauliflower appetiser is highly recommended. Variety of vegan cake choices. Fairly priced.

The food is so delicious every time. Even the dessert was convincing, which was vegan. The service is super funny and nice. When you sit outside, beggars often come by, but the waitress always makes sure that they drive them away in good time. Always a pleasure to eat there.

We like to come to the Zeil Kitchen because it's always delicious. In the meantime we have eaten our way through the menu and have never fallen for it. Every dish tastes good and even absolute meat lovers get their taste buds here and can hardly believe it. Really a great restaurant with great dishes and always very nice service. For us an absolute recommendation, for the small hunger in between, as well as with the main meals!

The food is great and the prices are great. However, what I noticed more negatively, especially in the Zeil Express, are the employees. I only went to the Zeil Express a few times because it had to be quick. I ordered fries and before she put them in the bag, she ate one. The mask requirement is only partially complied with and where you can enjoy going (without a mask!). When she took a wrong order from me, she simply sorted out the unwanted one, not very carefully of course. In the restaurant, even in Corona times, I have never seen anyone wipe a table. The Höhn case numbers don't really surprise me at the moment. I also saw a mouse running down the bar once. Should, in my opinion, have a look at the health department. In the restaurant itself, it has happened to me at least 3 times in the last few weeks that I was served something wrong. E.g. I order the Beyond Burger and a falafel burger comes out. Wouldn't be worth mentioning now if something like that happened. But it happens all the time, according to friends ... I will probably come back anyway because the food is great in terms of taste and price. But I would be happy if you listen to the guest more and pay attention to hygiene. 😁👍🏻😅

The vegan wrap was delicious

The worst place in zeil. Rude service, nobody give you receipt and they don't accept cards for small bills. Silly

The whole restaurant is vegan. The food tastes very tasty, very recommendable shawarma and for dessert: brownie with ice cream. The service is very nice too and the atmosphere is good too. Okay in terms of price. Would visit again! 😊😊

Visit on a Saturday, restaurant very well attended and constantly changing visitors at the (dingy) tables. But despite Corona, these were neither disinfected nor even wiped with a damp cloth! After a request to the waitress, the answer came: Today is Saturday, you can see what's going on here !!! The current case numbers in Frankfurt are no longer surprising. The health department should urgently stop by here!

As a vegan you are in good hands here. Everything tastes great regardless of whether it is a starter, main course or dessert. When we are in Frankfurt, this is our address to go out to eat! The entire staff is very nice and attentive. We always feel very comfortable and will definitely come back.

Epic food here. Plus, my girlfriend has milk and eggs allergy, but we had no problem. No traces!

Ordering was quick and friendly and they got the order correct, but in the rush to take the order a few things got left out like sauce options. I had the beyond burger and sweet potato fries. The burger was overall pretty good, although a little tall and unwieldy; not a deal breaker, but the skewer they used to hold it together was much too long, at around 25cm, so you have to either take it out, or skilfully eat around it without poking yourself in the face. Still a good burger though - 7/10. For the fries I was not offered a variety of sauces and was simply given ketchup, which is my least favourite sauce. That was a huge let-down. The sweet potato fries were average, and I had a regular fry thrown into my portion. 4/10. For desert I tried some of the ice creams from those I was with who ordered them. The chocolate is too sweet and dark and not very creamy, like an OK dark chocolate, but cold and wet. Just an average 5/10. The Vanilla was mostly just a strong soy flavour, and strangely the coldest of the 3 I tried, so cold that it severely hurt my teeth (I can normally chew ice cream without pain). It was my least favourite because there was almost no trace of vanilla, just soy and the slight grainy mouthfeel that goes with a of soy-based alternatives but was still somewhat creamy. 3/10. Strawberry was not just the winner here, but an absolute treat; full of real blended strawberry and bursting with flavour. This was actually better than most dairy-based strawberry ice cream I've had, easily a solid 9/10 and the highlight of the evening. It was early evening on Saturday and fairly busy at the time, but 35 minutes to receive the order anywhere is simply too long. During busy times, they should prepare with more kitchen staff. While there was no lack of servers, it wasn't always easy to get their attention due to their main focus being on socializing with their fellow colleagues. While I support a good team-spirit and comradery, the dining area is not the place to do it. 5/10. I might go again during more quiet-hours. UPDATE: 1 year later (18th August 2020) Went again because the kids enjoyed it last time. This time it was a disaster. Firstly, I ordered a drink and was met with the response "we don't have that, the menu is out of date".... oookay.... Next, when my ordered burger arrived (the Moving Mountains burger), it came with cabbage salad, instead of the advertised 'coleslaw'. Now... I know what you're thinking "coleslaw must be just cabbage salad in Germany" - Wrong. Germans know what coleslaw is. Go to KFC down the road, you get coleslaw. Even in the menu, the other burger comes with "Krautsalat", and this one, as advertised in menu, comes with "Coleslaw".... So naturally I complained, and they said "we don't have any", and the waiter just turned away and left. Service here, was disgusting. Not only was I not informed my order would be changed, but they didn't give a single excrement. Next... The kids hated their meals, so I got to try pretty much everything we ordered. This included the regular beyond burger and a wrap. Both the Moving Mountains burger and Beyond Burger were not done properly. Both patties were undercooked sloppy messes. There was none of that signature flame-grilled flavour you get from cooking the patties to just the right almost-crisp texture. So, the chef was incompetant. The wrap was mostly fine, aside from the overwhelmingly salty vegan parmesan which dominated the flavour pallette. This was a pretty miserable experience, as we will never be going there again.

Great food. Great service. They have the beyond meat burger also which is great. Would definitely recommend especially if you twdn vegetarian or vegan (they have meat dishes also). Also a cocktail happy hour every day.

The restaurant looked very nice and eating inside was very good even though it was hot outside. The food was tasty for me and my friends. The selection is good and top for vegetarians. Our portions were large and the starter plate was great. The staff were competent and friendly. I can definitely recommend this restaurant.

A Hidden Gem You have to read this to believe it. Gem "revealed" at end. An unassuming Cafe in the middle of the pedestrian zone of the largest shopping area in Frankfurt. We went here because we read that it was a good place for vegans. We arrived to find what looked like a standard diner catering to the masses where they have so much walk in traffic they can essential serve anything of any quality and get away with it. Browsing through the menu we found a good amount of middle eastern offerings as well as a slightly eclectic mix of standards: salads, burgers, schnitzel, curry wurst, gyros, a smattering of tex mex, spaghetti with parmesan. The usual boutique coffees, hot chocolate with cream, waffles or brownies with ice cream. No guide in the menu at all as to which items were vegan or even vegetarian other than the coffee which said "available with soy milk". Upon nervous inquiry we were told EVERYTHING is vegan. Soy milk is the alternative to ... oat milk, which is standard. ALL "meats", "cheeses", "cream", etc. are VEGAN. And they essentially don't advertise it at all. We spoke with the wait staff who confirmed that the vast majority of the people eating there likely have no idea that the food is vegan. Earlier they pushed it as a theme and it turned people away! So they just don't mention it. There subtle hints in the menu (they aren't lying to people) when you are in the know but fairly opaque if you aren't looking. The the wait staff were uniformly friendly and the food was really good. Clearly expertly cooked defying the slightly unassuming ambiance (we originally thought we were in the wrong place and almost left). This is somebody's passion project and it is genius. Recommended for everybody. REQUIRED for vegans.

I Go there regularly and I can recommend it highly. My personal favorite is the Shawarma Sandwich(It is made with lots of seitan and fresh vegetables) Everything is vegan!

The almond kiss drink was amazing; although the wraps and fries were very mild in flavour and quality; the quantity of serving was quite big.

Just the perfect place! Amazing Food, nice atmosphere and kind staff! My favorites are the beyond meat burger (not on the photo) and the superfood salad. Also a great place to have some drinks, including yummy cocktails.

The only place that was still open on a Sunday afternoon middle in the city of Frankfurt but still looking cozy and nice. We only had drinks but the food in the tables looked very delicious.
